Ministry of Helps (MOH) Guidelines

What is the Ministry of Helps? According to 1 Corinthians 12:28 "And Elohim hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues." Elohim has set some in the church to be helps. Not that any one gift is more than another is but that we would all see we have a place in the body, regardless of function. I like the way Rev. Buddy Bell, who is known as the Pastor’s friend and author of the Ministry of Helps Handbook, says it best. He says that Having Enough Loving People Serving is what the ministry of helps is all about.

MOH stands for Ministry of Helps – in which Elohim has called us all too. (I Cor .12:28) But in order to participate in Ministry of Helps (MOH) we ask that all ministry partners please comply with the following:

  • One must be a covenant partner of S.E.E.D.© Faith Ministries International or its affiliates or partner ministries, having become born again, baptized in water, and spirit-filled, with the evidence of speaking with other tongues or other spiritual gifts, completed Covenant Partners Orientation and turned in their Covenant Partners Application.

  • One must be living a lifestyle that is consistent with the Holy Scriptures, biblical Christian principles and the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Helps Guidelines.

  • One cannot participate in any of the Ministry of Helps if one has not gained victory in manifestations such as smoking, drinking, narcotics, profanity and illegitimate sexual habits.

  • One must have the temperament and capability of performing the duties that have been established for the particular ministry to which application has been made.

  • One must be in consistent physical attendance in at least one of the mid-week Word studies, one of the Sunday worship service and Prayer, even though one may be required to work another.

  • One must be in attendance at the majority of the scheduled meetings established for the MOH for which application is made. One must be willing to support the Ministry, both prayerfully and financially.

  • One must be willing to familiarize oneself with the Statement of Faith (What We Believe) and the vision of S.E.E.D.© Faith Ministries International - is to develop and empower believers to fulfill their callings and assignments in order to impact their families, communities and ministries for Christ. – Genesis 1:9-13

  • One must be willing to participate in all applicable MOH Training, Prayer and Staff Meeting(s).

  • One must be prepared to meet the spiritual and physical requirements of ones scheduled assignment.

  • One must be willing to perform the additional duties detailed in the area’s Ministry Position Description.

In other words to end all disputes, we are all helps ministers, called to lay hold of something in the ministry and render services.
