What is the School of the Prophets?

The School of the Prophets is a ministerial school of development for those who are called to any aspect of prophetic ministry, and especially targets those who are called to or desire a deeper understanding of the prophetic office.

Through the delineation of the prophetic component found throughout scripture, the validity of the prophetic ministry for today is clearly determined to dispel the inordinate degree of unbelief, skepticism and prejudice which permeates the Body of Christ.

There are four levels of PROPHETIC MINISTRY that are widely used and excepted throughout Apostolic and Prophetic Ministries today.

Simple Prophecy

A SIMPLE PROPHECY IS GIVEN WHEN ANY BELIEVER SPEAKS SOMETHING Elohim HAS BROUGHT TO MIND. THIS USUALLY WITHIN THE SCOPE OF ENCOURAGEMENT, COMFORT, OR EXHORTATION EXPLAINED IN I CORINTHIANS 14:3 AND IT DOES NOT INCLUDE CORRECTION, NEW DIRECTION OR PREDICTIVE ELEMENTS OF PROPHETIC WORDS.

Prophetic Gifting

BELIEVER'S WHO REGULARLY RECEIVE IMPRESSIONS, DREAMS VISIONS OR OTHER TYPES OF REVELATION HAVE PROPHETIC GIFTING. THESE ARE USUALLY SYMBOLIC, BEING IN THE FORM OF PARABLES AND RIDDLES. THIS GROUP RECEIVES MORE REGULAR PROPHETIC INFORMATION THAN THE FIRST GROUP, YET LACKS CLARITY IN UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY RECEIVE. (THIS MINISTRY HAPPENS OFTEN IN CHARISMATIC CHURCHES)

Prophetic Ministry

BELIEVER'S WHOSE GIFTING HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED, NURTURED AND COMMISSIONED FOR REGULAR MINISTRY IN THE LOCAL CHURCH ARE IN PROPHETIC MINISTRY. THERE IS STILL A STRONG SYMBOLIC OR ALLEGORICAL (FIGURATIVE) ELEMENT IN WHAT THEY RECEIVE, BUT THROUGH THE PROCESS OF TEAM MINISTRY, IT IS POSSIBLE TO DISCERN MUCH OF THE INTERPRETATION AND APPLICATION OF THEIR REVELATION.

Prophetic Office

A BELIEVER WHO'S MINISTRY IS SOMEWHAT LIKE THE PROPHETS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT OCCUPY THE OFFICE OF THE PROPHET. THEY OFTEN MINISTER IN SIGNS AND WONDERS AND ARE KNOWN TO SPEAK 100% ACCURATE WORDS FROM Elohim. THIS DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE INFALLIBLE, BUT THEIR WORDS ARE TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. THEIR CREDIBILITY HAS BEEN CLEARLY ESTABLISHED BY THEIR PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF ACCURATE PROPHECIES.

This School of Advanced Ministry is very detailed and specific and although is has an element of in-depth teaching and training, it IS NOT GEARED TO TEACH YOU HOW TO PROPHECY nor HOW TO BE A PROPHET, for the Spirit of the Lord does or should have already done that, but rather to sharpen your hearing, teach you what's required to be sensitive to the Spirit and empower you to move out in boldness. With so much false prophecy and prophets in the world today, it's time for the true prophets to speak up.

These classes are taught by very seasoned Apostles and Prophets and are designed to be mobile as we realize not everyone can travel to the Columbia Campus.
