Why do I need to be saved?

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of Elohim, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of Elohim." "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one." Yahshua Christ, the Son of Elohim, was manifested to undo the work of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to Elohim (Romans 5:14; Romans 3:10,23; 1 John 3:8; Romans 12:1-2; I Corinthians 10:13; II Corinthians 5:5-10; 10:4-6.). Salvation is the gift of Elohim to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Yahshua Christ, producing works acceptable to Elohim (Ephesians 2:8).

Man’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that works repentance. The New Birth is-necessary to all men, and when fulfilled, produces eternal life (2 Corinthians 7:10; 1 John 5:12; John 3:35).

What is salvation?

John 3:16-21 says "For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

From whom do I receive salvation?

Salvation is a free gift from Elohim to all who would receive it. Romans 6:²³ "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of Elohim is eternal life through Yahshua Christ our Lord."

How do I accept salvation?

Romans 10:9-13 says "That if you confess with your mouth, Yahshua is Lord, and believe in your heart that Elohim raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

If you truly want to receive salvation and need more direction, please say this prayer , but most importantly, believe it in your heart.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Yahshua. Your Word says, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Yahshua to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10. "If I confess with thy mouth the Lord Yahshua, and believe in my heart that Elohim hath raised him from the dead, I shall be saved." I do that now. I confess that Yahshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that Elohim raised Him from the dead."

I am now reborn! I am a Christian--a child of Almighty Elohim! I am saved! You also said in Your word, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: HOW MUCH MORE shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Luke 11:13). I'm also asking You to fill me with the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, rise up within me as I praise Elohim. I fully expect to speak with other tongues as You give me the utterance (Act 2:4).

If you just prayed that prayer, praise Elohim!!!!!!!! Your name has been added to the Book of Life (Rev. 21:27). Record the time and date that you gave your heart to Yahshua so that you have a personal record of it. You have just completed your first step toward the glorious journey. Our Overseer, B.
